St. John's has meant so much to our family over the past 12 years. We had always attended Lutheran churches in Atlanta, but couldn't find the right church when we moved to Boulder Then we stumbled upon St. John's Episcopal Church. My husband's family was Episcopalian, and he just adored the architecture and people of our church. Father Rol was giving the homily, the choir was singing like angels, and when we kneeled for communion, it just felt right. We filled out our pledge to the church that week. Then we started getting mail from the church including a directory with our name in it. I didn't know we were members, but Father Rol said we were, and this is where we've been ever since. A few years later my mother-in-law moved to Boulder, and she joined also. We love meeting her at church and sharing this wonderful place with her. This church is so welcoming and there's always something going on. It is so easy to get involved. My kids love the Pancake Supper, Sunday night youth group activities, Eggstravaganza (where Sam usually has the closest guess for the number of jelly beans in the jar), Blessing of the animals, Kirkin' O' the Tarten, reading at youth Sunday, or just meeting up with friends at the coffee hour. We adore the church staff and always feel like we learn something every Sunday. Our 3 children attend Sunday School and Youth Group, while I teach Sunday School and Charlie helps out on the building committee when they call. We are lucky to have "stumbled upon" this great place. Of course, now we know that this was in God's plan all along! Lauren, Charlie, Charlie the 5th, Caroline and Sam Hager
