Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit; and there are varieties of service, but the same Lord; and there are varieties of activities, but it is the same God who activates all of them in everyone. Children from preschool through fifth grade are invited to participate in St. John’s annual Christmas pageant. Major parts (Gabriel, Mary, Joseph, the star, and the three kings) are assigned to the oldest children who attend pageant rehearsal. Children choose their parts, with the oldest child choosing first. One of the youngest babies in the parish is asked to play Baby Jesus. St. John’s Christmas pageant is held during the 10 a.m. service.
