Elder Circle

Elder Circle

Formed in 2005, the Elder Circle is a committee of parishioners dedicated to making St. John's an elder friendly community. In addition to supporting the clergy, the committee serves as a clearinghouse for parishioners and such ministries as Pastoring Ministers, St. John's Episcopal Chaplains, Pastoral Care Team, Eucharistic Visitors, and the Grief and Loss Group.

Elder Circle needs your help

We need drivers to give rides to the elderly on the following feast days:

  1. Nov 5 - All Saints Day
  2. Dec 24 - Christmas Eve evening services (4:30, 7:30 and 10:30)
  3. Jan 6 - Epiphany
  4. Feb 21 - Ash Wednesday
  5. April 1 - Palm Sunday
  6. April 8 - Easter
  7. May 27 - Pentecost

Medical Equipment Library

St. John's maintains a collection of medical equipment. This equipment such as walkers, wheel chairs, crutches, canes, bath chairs is available on loan. Please be aware that St. John's has done its best to ensure the usefulness of the equipment but does not have the expertise to provide training on use or for fitting of the equipment. If you borrow the equipment you are responsible for obtaining training and fitting from a healthcare provider. Pease call the St. John's Office (303-442-5246) if you wish to borrow medical equipment.
