It is always a joyful experience to welcome newcomers into our community. However, for the newcomer, the experience of getting to know a new parish can sometimes be confusing and intimidating. We want to help make that transition easier by providing newcomers with the information and support they need.

The Welcome Ministry’s mission is to make everyone feel at home at St. John’s whether they are visitors, new members or established members. We especially want to help new members find a sense of belonging in our parish community. Several times a year we host a special coffee hour to celebrate our newer members and also organize other social events to foster opportunities for fellowship among all members of St. John’s.
