Welcome to Saint John’s Youth Ministries! We have a long tradition in providing exciting and meaningful experiences for young people. Our youth group is a place for a young person to stretch and grow and find out who they are, all the while knowing they are supported and deeply cared for. Faith is a journey of seeing and feeling what God might be to each of us.
Although all components can be fun, this is most likely to be fun… it has to do with a connectedness to each other… just being together and learning through crazy things like shaving cream wars, or Ultimate Frisbee.
Worship has to do with connectedness to God. This often times has to do with music, prayer, or even meditation through using things like a labyrinth.
Service is the natural expression of our worship, the urgent outcome of our everyday commitment to Christ… but above all it’s a bunch of fun helping others and doing activities together!
Education is the part that has to do with our understanding of who we are in our faith and how we can grow in understanding of how to live out faith daily. Although this can come in the form of movie clips, small group talks, or field trips.
