All volunteers must submit a volunteer application and go through a screening process.
Description: Coordinate weekly Sunday night dinners. 5:30pm have dinner ready… 15-25 people… including beverage and meal. Ex. Pizza, Mac & Cheese, Spaghetti, Lasagna, Mexican. Reminder call during the week to dinner family. Family providing food will serve dinner and assist with clean and are invited to eat with the youth group. 1-4 hrs/month. 1 yr. commitment.
Description: Coordinate drivers for church visits and service projects. Communicate with Confirmands about upcoming meeting and participation at Confirmation service. Keep attendance. Create participant list. Organize breakfast prior to Confirmation service. Attend meetings to greet and assist. 2.5hrs/wk for 6 weeks in Spring.
Description: Coordinator organizes Christmas Camp (a day or two days in which parents leave their kids at the church for a four hour period allowing the parents to go shopping for Christmas gifts. Youth organize games and activities for the kids to do.) including parental help as well as the activities. This person also would keep track of the Flamingo Flocking, as well as coordinate yard leaf raking! 2 hrs/wk. 1 yr commitment.
Description: Help facilitate discussion, option to lead some discussions/music, be a role model for kids, be supervision, and help keep youth focused. 3 hrs/wk. 1 yr commitment. Several years would be great!
Helps teach the class once a month using the Journey to Adulthood Rite 13 curriculum. Provide supervision and support for the other class teachers. Class meets 3 Sundays/month. 2 hr/wk. 1 yr. commitment.
Description: Calls and lines up Acolytes for the Sunday services. Trains them in what to do and is there on Sunday morning if they have any questions. 2 hrs/wk. 1 yr. commitment.
Description: Set dates for and arrange events, arranges drivers, reserve vans for trips. 0-4hr/wk. 1 yr. commitment.
