Can I give from my IRA or stock?
In the spirit of stewardship of the gifts that God has entrusted to us, we encourage you to thoughtfully consider the advantages of making a gift of appreciated securities such as stocks, mutual funds, or ETFs, to St. John’s Episcopal Church. For many individuals, this may be an economical way to give. Please consult your financial advisor to see if it is a good option for you. To give a gift of appreciated securities to St. John’s, please contact Natalie at ndevine@stjohnsboulder.org for instructions.
Is my pledge tax-deductible?
Yes, St. John’s is a 501 (c) 3) non-profit organization, and all gifts that meet the IRS requirements are tax-deductible.
What if I can’t give right now?
Gifts of every size are important and valued. Also important is giving of ones time and talent. Every ministry you read about on the website or see happening at St. John’s relies on volunteers. Please reach out to and let us know your interest.
I give regularly. Why should I pledge?
Pledging allows the church to budget for the year properly. Allowing staff and volunteers to plan their programs for the year to be the hands and feet of Christ in the community.
